Bill McLenahan, an expert in vintage residential properties, has worked in real estate in Hyde Park for more than 13 years. Due to his background, he brings to real estate a unique knowledge of the types of properties most prevalent in CENTURY 21 Kennedy, Ryan, Monigal and Assoc., Inc.'s service area. He was formerly--for over 25 years--the Director of the City's Commission on Chicago Landmarks. He began that agency when it was formed in 1968 and established many of the programs and policies that are still followed today. During those years, he gained a comprehensive knowledge of the desirable features (and potential problems) of older properties.

In 2002, he became the Sales Manager of the company. As such, he trains and advises newer agents, helps formulate policies for the company, and seeks to ensure continuation of the company's high ethical standards. He finds the company's goals, procedures, and practices to be a good fit with his own.

In addition, Bill continues to sell real estate, an activity he truly enjoys. Whether working with sellers or buyers, dealing with a large house or a small condo, he pays careful attention to all aspects of the transaction.

Bill has been a Hyde Park resident for over 40 years, and during those years has been active in a number of community organizations. He really knows the South Side, and is delighted by the positive changes he's witnessed and helped shape.
