Based upon her career experience, Janet Mwobobia finds real estate a very rewarding undertaking. Janet Mwobobia started in the retail trade 20 years ago. She excelled with her first gift shop and expanded her venture to four locations within the first two and a half years. She strategically located them in some of Chicago’s favorite tourist destinations.

Her love for the service industry continues to grow and that passion extends to real estate. She knows that, for the client, a real-estate transaction is one of life’s major experiences and accomplishments, and she works to make that experience an efficient, pleasant, and memorable one.

Janet was born in Nairobi, Kenya, and raised in a traditional Kenya family. Such a family usually has several children, but Janet is an only child. Therefore, she has always related closely with her extended family, friends, and business acquaintances. She has traveled widely and is fluent in Kiswahili and Turkish. Her extensive contacts with people from around the world have perfected her communication skills enormously. She has lived on the both the North and South Sides of Chicago with no preference over the other. “It’s like apples and pineapples.” She simply loves Chicago!
