Jeanne Spurlock became a licensed REALTOR® in 1981 and started her real-estate career with CENTURY 21 Kennedy, Ryan, Monigal and Assoc., Inc. It was important to her to begin her career with a major franchise and a local firm that both carried outstanding ethical reputations.
Ultimately, Jeanne purchased the firm in 1997. With only a few sleepless nights since that day, she says that she is proud of the team of agents who represent the firm. She has received many top agent sales awards, including the Century 21 Centurion Award and the Top Producer Award for the Hyde Park market each for several years running. Since starting in 1981, she has sold an estimated $250 million worth of real estate.
You’ll find working with Jeanne that she is very knowledgeable about the market, is direct, and fiercely looks out for her clients’ best interests. She is proud to be a member of the Board of Directors of the Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce, which was formed in 1939 to promote and support local businesses. She also currently sits on the Grievances and Professional Standards Committee of the Chicago Association of Realtors.
In her down time, she enjoys swimming, reading, activities in her church, and — most of all — having fun with her adult children and jubilant grandson (who is keeping her young!) When she vacations, it will always be with her family on a beautiful beach somewhere.
Since starting her career, Jeanne has made many wonderful friends, both clients and fellow Realtors. She says, "I feel very fortunate to have a job that I love. It is so rewarding to help people accomplish their dreams."
