Jeanne Spurlock became a licensed REALTOR® in 1981 and started her real-estate career with CENTURY 21 Kennedy, Ryan, Monigal and Assoc., Inc. During her first year in the industry, interest rates were at 17%. She thought then, "This can only get better."

Ultimately, Jeanne purchased the firm in 1997; with only a few sleepless nights since that day, she says that she is elated with the team of agents who represent the firm. She has received many top agent sales awards, both from the Century 21 System and the Chicago Association of Realtors. Since starting in 1981, she has sold an estimated 210 million dollars worth of real estate (selling the same house three or more times through the years).

Jeanne is proud to be a member of the Board of Directors of the Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce, which was formed in 1939 to promote and support local businesses. In her down time, she enjoys swimming, reading, activities in her church, and--most of all--having fun with her adult son and 16-year-old daughter. When she vacations, it will always be on a beautiful beach somewhere with her family.

Since starting her career, Jeanne has made many wonderful friends, both as clients and fellow Realtors. She says, "I feel very fortunate to have a job that I love. My advice to new Realtors: always be yourself, don't give up, and listen, listen, listen."
