Margie Overby was licensed as a REALTOR® in 1969 and worked part-time while teaching in the public school system and raising her daughter. She began selling real estate full-time in 1973. She subsequently developed her interest in acquiring apartment buildings, renovating and managing them, and later selling them. This led to her earning a certificate for investment/commercial properties.

She has sold throughout the Chicago area, including the South Side, North Side, Gold Coast, downtown, and the north and south suburbs. Her strong sense of service to her clients has caused them to continue to seek her out for their subsequent sales and purchases throughout the Chicago area.

She has earned the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) and GRI (Graduate REALTOR® Institute) designations, which have further engendered the trust of generations of clients who have become lifelong friends.

Margie enjoys church activities, traveling, decorating, swimming, reading, cooking, and entertaining, as well as spending time with her family.
